Starting at around 3500 BCE, cuneiform served as the primary writing system for ancient Mesopotamia. Its wedge-shaped characters have mystified historians and linguists for centuries. Join us and Dr. Jennifer Larson and learn about this fascinating ancient writing system! Dr. Larson received her Ph.D from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992 and is currently working as a professor of Modern and Classical Language Studies at Kent State University. Come on in, learn about cuneiform, and write some cuneiform yourself! Limited to 15 guests.
