Ceremonies and celebrations are a huge part of our Western culture, from weddings, baptisms and memorial services to confirmations, first communions, bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvahs, and graduation ceremonies. The ceremonies presented at White Barn are a beautiful multi-cultural blend of ancient history and traditions complimented with new “traditions” honoring our present time, all designed to help us navigate life’s milestones. The ceremonies are typically held in or near the Medicine Wheel.
These ceremonies are supportive and beneficial for anyone on the journey of personal and spiritual growth.

Annual Ancestor Ceremony (Also Honoring Friends and Family in Spirit)
We carry with us the energy of our ancestors, and all of their hopes, dreams, and the unfolding of their lives is the background story of how we came to be in the here and now. As part of the ceremony to honor our ancestors we bring a small container of a food that they would have eaten. This food is blessed and then placed in eco-friendly containers in the woods, honoring our ancestors and at the same time providing sustenance for the wildlife.
This ceremony will also honor any friends or other family members who have transitioned and will remember them with the energy of nature including fire, water, air and earth.
Ceremony: By Donation at the Door For more info or to register visit https://whitebarnhealingarts.org/ancestor-ceremony
