"Thursday Night Gardening Series" Workshops will be offered at The Kent Free Library,  312 W. Main St. Kent, Ohio, and other sites in cooperation with The Ohio State University Master Gardeners of Portage County.

Join Alec McClennan, founder of Good Nature Organic Lawn Care, for a discussion on the latest methods you can employ to have a beautiful lawn with few or no chemicals. Learn: About a new "weed" you can plant in your lawn that will fight undesirable weeds and save you money on fertilizer. What you NEED to be doing right now to have a beautiful lawn next spring. This will be a hands-on demonstration and presentation.

Please return registration form to Portage County Master Gardeners, 6970 S.R. 88, Ravenna, OH 44266 or contact Robin Carson at (330) 296-6432.  Registration for Rain Barrel Workshop is required. Please submit your check in the amount of $20.00 made payable to Portage County SWCD with your registration. There is no fee for the other workshops offered in this series.
