Time to Vaccinate!
Tdap: Ohio Law now requires 7th graders to recieve a booster of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis). Check your childs
immunization records to see if he/she needs a booster shot of Tdap.
HPV: HPV vaccine Gardasil is for both boys and girls ages 9-26. It protects against different types of HVP which cause 75% of
cervical cancers.
Menactra: Bacterial Meningitis is an infection of the fluid surrounding the brain. It can also cause blood infections. The Portage County Health Department has these vaccines recommended for preteens, teens, and young adults.
All shots are for 18 years and younger.
